I am a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ!

I am a retired electrical engineer from 30+ years in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley.

I have been a licensed ham since 1968 and also hold an Commercial FCC general class licensed (was 1st class originally).

I am an avid fisherman and fish all waters and all styles.

I collect and restore antique radios from the 'teens up to the 70's when vacuum tubes started disappearing. You can view "some" of my radios on my online museum at www.AntiqueRadioMuseum.org.

About Me

I became interest in ham radio in the late 50s, when I earned my Radio merit badge.  My first call sign was WN6LDE.  I entered the Air Force after graduation from high school. During my 20 years in the USAF I had numerous calls. KA6CDP, N6BLN, WW6F, W6WF.

My primary interest is DXing. All I need is North Korea to confirm them all.  I am on the DXCC Honor Roll and have 8BDXCC

My other main interest is Public Sercice. I have been an AEC, EC, DEC, SEC. During the past 50 years I have worked 9 major disasters to included the Challenger crash and Hurricane Katrina.

I retired from the USAF in 1979.  I have worked as a liability insurance adjuster, Optical coating tech. Texas Narcotics, Texas Division of Emergency Management (state EOC) from which I retired in 2012.

In addition to Ham radio my interest and hobbies are:  private pilot, flying RC airplanes, restoring and driving Model A Fords, Stamp Collection, and Scouting (Silver Beaver, Eagle, Silver Award)
